You get a clear price based on the scope, full or partial. A 25% deposit secures your date, including packing ahead of a weekend move.
We pack, wrap and label
Every box gets filled, taped and labelled by room. Fragile items and furniture get extra padding. Nothing goes in a box bare.

How much does professional packing cost?
B.G. Moving Corp. charges $75 per hour per labourer, with a 2-hour minimum, the same rate that applies to a move. Full packing for an average home typically takes a full crew several hours depending on room count and belongings. Partial packing, covering just the kitchen or a few rooms, costs less since it takes less time. Materials like boxes and tape can be included as part of your quote.
What is the difference between full and partial packing?
Full packing means every room in the home gets boxed, wrapped and labelled by our crew, materials included. Partial packing covers only the rooms or items you choose, typically the kitchen, closets, or anything fragile, while you handle the rest yourself. Partial packing is the more budget-friendly option for anyone comfortable packing everyday items but wanting help with the parts that take the most time or carry the most risk.
Do you supply the boxes and packing materials?
Yes, boxes, tape, packing paper and bubble wrap are all included as part of a packing job. You do not need to source or buy anything in advance. Specialty materials like dish packs and wardrobe boxes are brought along for the items that need them.
How do you protect fragile and valuable items like dishes, artwork and electronics?
Fragile and specialty items are wrapped and cushioned individually before they go in a box, and electronics get extra padding to protect them in transit. Dish barrels, cell kits and wardrobe boxes are used where they make sense so nothing shifts during the move. How far in advance should I book packing services?
Booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance is recommended, the same as booking your move, since month-end dates and summer fill up fastest across Waterloo Region. If you are combining packing with a move, book both together so the schedule lines up. Shorter notice can often still be accommodated, so it is worth calling even if your date is close.
