Every commercial move includes the same standard of care regardless of size. No add-ons to negotiate, no surprises on the day.
Blankets and Shrink Wrap
Every desk, cabinet and piece of equipment is blanketed and shrink wrapped before it leaves the office. Nothing goes on the truck bare, regardless of how short the drive is.
Disassembly and Reassembly
Desks, workstations, shelving and boardroom tables come apart at the old location and go back together at the new one. Included in every move, not an upcharge.
Floor and Door Frame Protection
Floors and door frames are protected at both the old location and the new one. We leave your office or retail space in the same condition we found it.
The Same Crew Start to Finish
The crew that loads your office is the crew that unloads it. No handoffs to a second team, no strangers walking through your business. You know who is on site from the first box to the last.
Our Own Trucks, Not a Broker
We are not a broker and we never subcontract your move. Your equipment goes on our truck, driven by our trained crew. The name on your quote is the same name on the truck at your door.

Every commercial move we do follows the same process. No surprises, no downtime, no changes to the price you were quoted.
Tell us about your space
Call or send the form. We ask about the size of the space, stairs or elevator access, and anything oversized. That is enough for a real number.
Get your estimate and lock the date
You get the hourly rate, the crew size and an honest estimate of how long it will take. A 25% deposit secures your date, including evenings and weekends.
We arrive and protect everything
Equipment and furniture get blanketed and shrink wrapped, floors and door frames get protected at both ends. Nothing goes on the truck bare.
Everything goes back together
Boxes and equipment land where they are labelled for, desks and workstations get reassembled. You pay for the hours worked at the rate you were quoted.

How much does a commercial move cost?
B.G. Moving Corp. charges $75 per hour per labourer, with a 2-hour minimum, so a standard 2-person crew starts at $150 per hour. Truck and mileage charges are additional and confirmed as part of your quote before moving day. The final cost depends on the size of the space, number of movers, distance, floor or elevator access, and any added services such as packing or after-hours scheduling.
Can you move our office outside of business hours?
Yes, evening and weekend moves are scheduled at no extra charge to avoid business downtime. Most offices and retail locations book their move for after closing or over a weekend so staff arrive Monday to a fully set up space. We coordinate directly with your building or property manager on elevator bookings and loading dock access ahead of time.
Do you handle computers, servers and office equipment safely?
Yes, workstations, monitors, servers and electronics are wrapped and padded individually before loading. Desks, filing systems and workstations are disassembled and reassembled at no extra charge, and cables and small components are labelled so everything is reconnected where it belongs at the new location.
How far in advance should we book a commercial move?
Booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance is recommended, and larger office or warehouse moves benefit from even more lead time to plan around lease dates and building access. Month-end dates and summer fill up fastest across Waterloo Region. If your timeline is tight, call anyway, since availability depends on the schedule and short-notice moves can often still be accommodated.
